Apr, 11Calling All Creatives for {studio sunday}
Hey all! It’s that time again for {studio sundays}, yay! If you’re interested in being featured, let me know, because I’m looking to do some again in May.
If you don’t know how it works, it’s really easy. All you do is snap about 5-10 photos of your lovely studio space or workspace and email them to me along with the answers to a few questions (below). That’s it! There is no catch. Email the requested items to me at robbielee {at} chickiedee {dot} com by April 29th to be featured in May.
The idea of {studio sundays} is to showcase each of our creative spaces to inspire others. We all have a space, big or small, where we create lovely things. The beauty is that each space looks, functions and feels very different from everyone else’s. We are always showing off our handmade goodies, but what about giving some credit to the lovely and creative space that you’ve also created!
Along with sending in your 5-10 photos, please tell us about yourself:
1. Who are you and what do you create?
2. Where is your studio located? (in your home or somewhere else?)
3. How long have you had your current studio space?
4. What is your favorite part of your studio?
5. Approximately how many hours per day do you spend in your studio?
6. Do you have any future plans for your studio space? (i.e. revamp, new location, etc.)
7. Is there anything else that you’d like to share?
It’s about time that we put the spotlight on our creative spaces, and I can’t wait to see yours!

Apr, 11{humpday tutorial} Drawer Re-purpose
Okay, so this is not necessarily a how-to step-by-step tutorial, but I just had to share! It’s such an easy and great idea, you don’t need step-by-step directions. Amy over at Ponder and Stitch went to the Thrift Store and found some old lonely drawers and re-purposed them into pretty display boxes! I just love this idea so much. Be sure to check out Amy and the rest of her Blog Post.

Apr, 11This weeks plan…
Happy Monday! Yesterday was wonderful, it was mine and my hubby’s 8 year anniversary of being together. We made great use of our day. We poked around the house doing a bit more Spring Cleaning and gathered a huge donation pile. Then he bought me Abracadabra roses and an Aux cable that I’ve been wanting for quite some time (he knows me too well). I took him to a French Restaurant here in Denver, and after that we went to a late movie to see Limitless. All in all, it was a great day!
As for this upcoming week, I plan on being very busy. I have a couple of little meetups, but hopefully I can squeeze coffee in with a friend and lots and lots of crafty time! I have a few projects in the works that I will be sharing soon. I plan on creating new one-piece designs and I will get some headbands made and in the shop. In addition, I will be working on an Easter Shawl for the cold and early Sunrise Services held at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO. My mom, cousin, myself and sometimes my lil brother all go each year. This year we may have another friend attend. My mom, cousin and I are all making our own shawls to keep us extra warm, as some years it tends to snow and the whole event is outside. I plan on making mine with chickie fabric on the outside and a super soft minky on the inside. Fingers crossed that it turns out!
So, that’s the plan for this week. It looks to be busy, but fun!
