Ello! So, over the past couple of months, I’ve had several of you ask for me to share more about myself. I have to apologize, because at first I thought I was sharing lots about myself, but at a second glance I realized that I wasn’t sharing as much as I really wanted to. I mean, I share what I do and what I like, but not much about myself (photos, stories, adventures, etc.). A few of you have asked for me to share some of my outfits, as well. I’ve been told that you’ve seen glimpses of them, but you’d like to see more. That sounds fun to me! So, I’ve decided to start a {sunday best} post which will share just that, my Sunday Best outfit with you. It’ll be a weekly feature every Sunday sharing one of my outfits, starting this Sunday.
I’ve also been asked to share more about my creative process. So, I’ll be sure to share more peeks into projects that I’m working on and things like that. I love this idea, and thank you for helping me realize that I fell into a bit of a rut where I thought I was doing one thing, but really doing another. You all are so great and I thank you for your continued support in Chickiedee. ♥rl

I’m so excited for this months vintage + handmade market! My mom and I have been busy making all sorts of goodies for Saturday July 14th here in Denver, CO. So, if you’re around, definitely stop by and say hello! It runs from 9am-4pm at 4345 W. 46th Ave. Denver, CO 80212, in the parking lot behind Olinger Moore Chapel. It’s an outdoor market featuring over 115 Colorado artists, crafters and vintage collectors — with food trucks, interactive crafting and so much more! I was excited to hear that Danica, over at The Nerdy Penguin, shared how she was inspired by my Inspirational Quotes post. She took a few of her favorite quotes and used pens and magazines that she had lying around to create her own version of this project. As a creative, I find that I’m easily inspired by visual things, like photographs, paintings, sculptures, etc. But, once in a while something written will truly inspire me in the same way. I love when that happens! These are a few of my favorite inspirational quotes, what are your favorites?
This was a fun little project, it actually would make for a great {diy}. All you need is some pretty pretty magazine pages (I used some from Harper’s Bazaar), some markers and your favorite quotes. They came out so pretty that they are almost frame-able, eh? Note: For a few of the quotes, I was unable to find who said them, so if you know, please let me know! Thanks! ♥rl

Hello and happy Thursday! I hope the day is treating you well. I’m so excited for this Sunday’s {studio sunday} feature!!! Should I tell you who the guest is? Of course I should! It’s the amazing and talented Jordan Grace Owens. You may know her by her lovely and warm illustrations and fancy paper dolls. So, be sure to come back here on Sunday to peek into her studio space. I can’t wait to share!

Hello and happy Friday! I’m so super excited to share the newest colors in the Roblin Boyfriend Tee Collection! I made them in Lime, Coral and Black. These tees are so slinky and soft, that you can wear them anywhere! I also added a couple of cute Roblin Plushies to the shop, too! You can get them all here. May, 12Craft Bazaar
I’ve been so busy lately getting ready for this weekends craft bazaar and there’s still so much to do! If you happen to be in the area, please stop by and say hello. The Dolphin Magic Craft Bazaar is Saturday, May 12th, 2012 from 10am-4pm at 3501 S. Colorado Blvd. Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113 (Colorado Blvd. & Hampden Ave.). There will be FREE admission + FREE parking, plus a bake sale, music and more. If you’re looking for something to do with mom this Mother’s Day weekend, then this is a great place to find handmade goodies for you and her.
This is a fundraiser for Ocean Conservation and Marine Wildlife, so donations will happily be accepted. All bake sale proceeds will also go to the cause. My mom will be selling her lovely handmade goats milk soaps, as well. We hope to see you there! ♥RobbieLee
