Hello fine friends!

I just love when the Fall Craft Show falls on my birthday, and this year that’s just what is going to happen.  Yay!  I would love for all of those who will be in area to stop by and check out my mom’s table as well as mine.   Here is the info and I hope to see you there!

It’s official, all!  Chickiedee | Modern Apparel for Babies has successfully transformed into Chickiedee | Handmade!  I still make the same baby items that you all love, I’ve only added more products for the ladies too.  I’ve added paintings, headbands, larger quilts, and tote bags.  This is just the beginning, because this Fall there will be even more!  I’m so excited to share what I’ve been working on and I thank you for being so supportive throughout this little change.

It’s also very important for me to stress that I’m still using as many sustainable materials and practices as possible.  Both your family and the environment are extremely important to me and how I choose to create.

Be sure to stop by the shop and check everything out.  There are new items in the Sale section and you will receive a free gift if you spend $55 or more.  Feel free to come back here and leave your feedback.

Here is a sneak peek of my latest project with block printed Robblins!!!  I printed and cut them yesterday, as well as attached them to a quilt top.  All I have to do is add the back side and this one of a kind lap quilt will be up for sale in the shop!  I plan on getting the fabric in over the weekend, so hopefully it will be ready by early to mid of next week.  I can’t wait to share the final piece (smile).  Enjoy your Friday and I’ll see you back here on Sunday.

So, due to a large number of requests, I’m taking Chickiedee to the next level.  It will no longer be Chickiedee | Modern Apparel for Babies.  It will soon be Chickiedee | Handmade.  I have so many wonderful new products that I’m creating to add to the shop, so stay tuned.  Many of them are headbands and other accessories that I just know you’ll love.

Don’t worry though, I’ll still have all of your favorite baby gear… that’s not going away.  The new products will be in the shop this summer.  Thank you so much for your continued support, I really couldn’t do it without you!!

Here are a few new beautiful things that are being added to the shop!  What better way to start off the New Year then to have warm and beautiful things for your little babe?! I’ll let you know as soon as they’re up for sale!  Geez, I just love these fabrics!

I call this blanket Willow.  The colorful top is 100% cotton and the soft minky back is 100% polyester.  It measures apox 34″ x 34″ and is great to cuddle up with.  The fabric was pre-washed in perfume free and dye free detergent so there will be no funky shrinkage here!  The best part of this blanket is that it’s light weight, yet super warm for those chilly months ahead.  You can find it here at Chickiedee!  Enjoy!
