I stumbled across Twinkie Chan’s blog a couple of months ago and instantly fell in love with her colorful and quirky style!  Her tattoos are so bright and great and I especially love her CUTE scarves!  Here are a few of my favorites…

DIY Tree Stump Trivet

I just love trivets of all kinds; small, big, round, square, and of course unique!  This cute little Tree Stump Trivet is one of the cutest I’ve seen in a long time, too.  The best part is, that you can make one yourself, because Martha Stewart shows you how!  It does indeed take a fair amount of felt strips, but it’s worth it!  This would be a perfect touch to a woodland-themed tea party!

Great Product Shout out!

After watching this weeks Shark Tank on ABC, I would like to give a shout out to two products that I think are just great!  The first being Llama Brew™, an “Eco-Friendly Green Fertilizer,” and Nubrella, “The Ultimate Weather Protector.”

“Llama Brew™ is made from 100% organic llama and alpaca manure and is packaged in recycled bottles.”  I just love to see when people use natural resources to do the same job as man-made items.  Chemical fertilizers are dangerous to our environment, the animals, and our families, so why not go natural?!  The surprising thing is that there is no fowl odor this product is very affordable!

Nubrella is a great alternative to your average umbrella, because it protects you from rain, snow, sleet, etc.  It is easy to use and you an use it hands-free without it flipping inside-out on you!  This means that you can use it while riding a bike, sitting at your child’s soccer game, walking to work, or anything else you can think of!  This truly can make life easier when standing up to the weather.

Humpday Tutorial {Magazine Pages to Bows}

I stumbled across this today and instantly fell in love with it! How  About Orange shares an easy-to-follow tutorial on how to make these fabulous bows out of magazine pages!  Talk about upcycling for sure!  I love seeing how creative people can be, especially when they reuse materials to create something new and exciting.  You have to check out the full tutorial and make some today!

This Bear Sleeping Bag by Eiko Ishizawa from Amsterdam is so clever!  You’ll be super warm and blend in with nature while camping.  Well, maybe that’s not a good thing… what if a real bear wanted to snuggle with you!?  ha ha ha.  I just wanted to share it with all of you cuz it’s just so cute!

Earwax Swab Halloween Treats

When I found these Earwax Swab Halloween Treats at Saucy’s Sprinkles this morning, I just had to share them with all of you!  What a creative and fun idea for the kids.  I mean, let’s face it, we all know that they’ve taken a taste of their own earwax before… this will just taste better.  All you do is pop two marshmallows on each end of a lollipop stick and dip them in butterscotch!  Easy, right?  The Q-tips box helps the look too!
